The other variable for me is that I unfortunately need to park outdoors and I've heard that the summer tires have a threshold where if it gets too cold the tires can crack and get damaged. I need to remind myself what that temperature is and check whether the overnight temps dip that low. If for nothing else, I may need to swap the tires out just for that.

I park outside. We live in a house built have no garage. I never have had a problem with cracking from cold.
