Wonder if they will move anywhere near list price? If the M3/4 CS is any indication the answer is no.

Will be interesting to watch as I am not a buyer of a $8ok + 2 series.....
Based on early US allocation projections, and assuming a 50% 6MT take rate, you’re looking at potentially less than 200 manual transmission M2 CS in the entire country. Those will all be pre-sold and won’t ‘sit’ anywhere but in owners’ garages.

The M3/4 CS has the wrong transmission and much higher production numbers.

Very happy to see BMW build an exclusive enthusiast machine again, even if it is not long for this world. It is a nice break from crossovers and EV’s that have great 1/4 mile times but make me sleepy. As much as I’ve enjoyed reading the dismissive posts on here for the past few days, I think I’ll have to be very discreet when I take delivery of my CS. Hopefully find some positivity at car shows, etc.
There is no reason I see to be negative about the car. It's a lot of money for some. For others it's not. The people who get it will enjoy every second of it. Can't wait until people start driving it and say how good it is.
