The M2 CS exhaust sounds like something is stifling its sound - and more than likely it's the Euro Gasoline particulate filters.
The US-spec version will have a different tone.
Beside the sound factor, it sucks that new, performance vehicles have to be so suppressed..
And also ironic that the US didn't also just abroad in neutering the exhaust, since they usually lead the pack, in tree-hugging, emissions regulations and after the VW scandal, few years ago..
