Very happy to see BMW build an exclusive enthusiast machine again, even if it is not long for this world. It is a nice break from crossovers and EV’s that have great 1/4 mile times but make me sleepy. As much as I’ve enjoyed reading the dismissive posts on here for the past few days, I think I’ll have to be very discreet when I take delivery of my CS. Hopefully find some positivity at car shows, etc.
Yes, those mentioned numbers of 300-450 units to the US would be crazy. The bmw honcho interviewed in the bmwblog podcast mentioned it will be available in all markets. That doesn't leave a lot of cars to go around. The fewer the better to help mitigate previous pricing issues. If they sell out and everyone "overpays", then who cares.
