My experience is that the stock pads aren't up to track duty (even a technical track like Buttonwillow).

The super fresh, $8/bottle DOT-4 fluid was fine. No fade, but I chunked the pads and scored the rotors. Next time out: DTC-60s (only because DTC-70s were out of stock).
