It means its set to aktiv on cars with and without carplay. It might have nothing to do with it at all. Might be some drm thing for ipod or something. I'll keep looking around. 'Apple Auth Chip' on google brings up stuff associated with lightning cable verification. Maybe its just that 'supported accessory' garbage when plugging in stuff to iphone.
