I hope I’m wrong but my advice is that if you really want to tune, find a local shop that can bench flash the ECU and problem solved. They don’t even need to take the ECU out. In theory, any high performance dyno shop should be able to do it.
It’s not as convenient as flashing a map yourself but it’s all we’re probably going to get, unless we get lucky.

There are thousands and thousands of s55s out there. Tuning will be even more popular on the used market I would think.
