2PUTT is correct. It's OPF back to maintain emissions compliance. We were planning on doing a mid/resonator delete/X-pipe and a axleback separately but BMW's stock design would not allow it without some sacrifices we didn't feel we wanted to make. The biggest of which is there is no real good cut point for an axleback in the M2C. The obvious point is the one small straight section of pipe that is also outfitted with heat shields. Cutting there would mean that the stock system would be forever marred and incapable of being reinstalled at a later date (trade-in, etc). As a result we opted for a one piece solution with both elements included.
