In addition to turning Rev Match off, the car now requires two pushes of the start button for the ignition to fire. The first push turns on the accessory mode. The second starts the engine. I also noticed that instead of being able to just lightly press the Start button to turn on the engine, it requires a slightly longer, more determined push.

I'm not sure if there are other effects.

Personally, I like Rev Match, so I went back to the "Active" setting.
I dug up this info but having the DCT I was not able to test. I tried posting about it to get someone to test it but suddenly all the rev match complainers couldn't be found, just tumble weeds....
