as a former gen 1 (MY2007) cadillac SRX owner, i completely understand your fears. i really love everything about the CTS-V wagon and got some seat time in a friend's car...but i just couldnt get past the quality / reliability issues i had with the SRX to own another GM vehicle, especially a high performance model.
