I've been going to a detailer with the last 4 cars we have bought. The coating he used all those times were Cquartz finest.

I've seen the prep work and it's time consuming but needed due the hardened state the CQfinest assumes on the paint after being applied.

However I assumed the coatings mentioned here are not similar or long lasting as the CQ finest so a simple wash and spray would do.

Can someone here advise. I'll be getting a new M2c next week and would like to go this route with this vehicle.
