It's not the correct one for the M2. It's the correct one for YOU.
You're in a unique situation where you have a two valved exhaust with no connecting wiring. Therefore you need the M3/M4 part (VSC-2) because it comes with a cable connecting the two valves. Other than the extra cable it's identical to the VSC-1.
