Only the cold start would be obnoxious and you can mediate that by putting your foot on the gas pedal and holding the revs up a few 100 rpm higher than idle. The car quiets down immediately. |

. Will try that out and see what effect it has on the car now. That's something anyway, although I do feel a brand new car should operate as intended if only on principle.
