I don't think there is anything in BMW's DNA that really defines building that kind of car. There's always a level of extra layers and content that make a BMW a BMW that results in a true 911 or Cayman competitor not fitting. Every indicator is the new Z4 is supremely capable underneath a thick veneer of luxury and numbness. |
True, the closest they have ever come in my opinion was the E85/6 Z4 M. Still a nice dream at least...
