They are just getting lazy. The Z4M had it. It's probably not as critical with the turbo engines as it was with S54, S65, and S85 though. The S55 has no known bearing issues.
Yeah true, the S55 has just had spun crank hub issues (which hopefully get resolved for the M2C)
