I never experience wheel hop. I always drive with the car in standard (DSC on) mode unless I'm on the track, in which case I'm not doing burnouts and silly stuff like that.

I believe that if you drive the car as designed, which is with DSC on, you will not experience wheel hop. That goes to the "why doesn't BMW fix this?" because the car works as designed. When you start doing silly stuff (burnouts) that the car was not specifically designed to do (i.e it's not a Hellcat) then I don't think it's fair to complain.

BMWs are designed to maximize handling and traction, not tire smoke.
