I'm working through the DIY approach. The steps appear to be:
- Get Ethernet to OBD2 cable (e.g. https://amzn.to/35cXmMU) and USB to ethernet adapter if your laptop doesn't have an ethernet port
- Go through the E-sys and Launcher installation: https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh.../983244?page=1
- E-sys 3.30.1 (looks like 3.27.1 also works?) and E-sys Launcher 2.8.2, which should be free until ~March/April 2020 (http://tokenmaster.blogspot.com/2019...pro-282.html); otherwise, you'll have to deal with TokenMaster and E-sys Launcher Pro 3.x
- Code out L/R Seat Airbags, R Seat Occupancy Sensor, L/R Seat Heaters (NICHT_AKTIV). There was a thread that had the names for the airbags, but I'll have to find all of them again
- This should all be VO coding, no flashing required so you only need the PSdZData Lite
