As I heard and read all the interviews and know a bit about brakes: It's the consistency/stamina the big brakes have over the normal ones (i.e. on track), not so much the stopping distance. That (also) depends on type of tyres/surface.
Also the unsprung weight of in total 16kgs will be noticable. My 18inch winterset already feels less heavy(steering/turning)
