I think you're definitely right about how the cars will be distinguishable - but like I had said before, I could live with compromises IF the car is worth it, like a GT4 or GT3 would be worth it.

I wonder if your 65K number is where the M2Comp will end up. If so, I think that's going to be too high of a price point...a 718S starts around 67 if I remember correctly...not much left in terms of value proposition for the M2 when the prices are that close.

Yes, most 718s are specced far beyond that figure. But most M2s are as well - my local dealer has a few and they're all pushing 65-68K. For the civic version. which means you know these Competition models will have all kinds of crap slapped on them by dealers to keep pushing that price point up.
