Transmission

I had an E90 Clutch Slave Cylinder (21526785964) installed in order to remove the clutch delay valve (CDV) that is present in the stock clutch slave cylinder

It made the clutch engagement point easier to feel and more predictable which I liked

However, it also made the clutch pedal feel a little softer which I did not

As a result, I had an Ultimate Clutch Pedal (UCP) installed

It is currently setup with both of the original clutch pedal springs in the middle position of the pedal and with two washers removed from the UCP supplied clutch stop

This firmed things up nicely

The UCP rests a little lower than stock which makes it easier to reach and the clutch now engages closer to the floor which I also find helpful

The lower panel below the steering column did need to be trimmed slightly to insure there was no interference with the UCP on my car

Next up was an Auto Solutions Short Shift Kit (stock height, 20% shift reduction and 80a+ bronze polyurethane front bushings)

I also had some Rogue Engineering Transmission Mounts installed at the same time as the stock mounts are very soft

The transformation in shifts are truly remarkable

The shifter feels much tighter, more stable and more precise
