doc fee 85
tax 5275
dmv fee 680
total 61491

Now, because i live in CA where we pay stupid amounts of taxes to fund stupid policies and feed lazy people (sorry for involving politics), the out-the-door price still isnt cheap.

I'm contemplating on maybe getting a used one with 3k miles for around 52-53k. The selling price isnt much different from buying new, but i can potentially save some money on taxes, making the otd price around 55k.

Would you guys pay 55k for a used 2020 with 3k miles or 61500 for a brand new order? New car is great, but 6500 is still 6500...

What do you guys think?
I'm thinking the same thing, although I am contemplating between buying new and doing ED or buying used (anywhere in the country) and then road tripping back. I'll be looking to pull the trigger in the next 12 months or so (keep that saving going). From there, it'll depend on what the price is on a used 2020 compared to what I can get a new 2021 w/ ED for.

For 6500, I'd do new but I've ED has been on my bucket list forever. Now if that spreads to 10K...what's the price of a dream?
