The wear isn't an issue, it's the heat cycles. I ran Rivals on my Grand Sport and never swapped tires. I got about 130 autox runs and 3,000 miles out of each set before they were done. With the M2, I've been tire trailering the RE71's. I have about 110 runs on my first set and at most 1,000 miles and grip really fell off this past weekend.
I ran AS with the GS and BS in the M2. Front end grip is lacking in both cars but I had -2.7 camber on the front of the GS which helped with wear.
