I have 18,000 miles and the only thing I've had done was the dealer installed improved brake dust shields for free due to the 'rocks in a soda can' noise.

Bad information. The warranty on all M2s is four years 50,000 miles. The maintenance was changed from four years to three years and also excluded brakes on 2017 and on M2s.
