Podcasts and Android

Forgive me if I missed this in my search. I like to take the occasional break from music and turn on Dinner With Racers or some other podcast. I can’t figure out how to do this from my Android phone. I can play it thru Bluetooth but can only control it from the phone, not iDrive, and I don’t care to give public officials more reason to pull me over. My wife’s VW allows this, so I assume I’m just not doing it right. Maybe thru USB? Is there a podcast app that will make it possible? Stumped.
