True. I'm a neat freak, and a photographer, so it's important to me. But most BMW owners, I would think, would just want the parts to be engineered better. Still, some cars, like Porsche, are known for the same thing, always fitting the smallest (lightest) wheel around huge brakes. Maybe BMW did it on purpose, since some part of them is always trying to be like Porsche.

Yes, just not in the USA. In most other countries the 437M was an option vs the 788M.

believe the F80 CCB has the same size rotor and 2NH caliper, and the car came spec'd with 763M, which has the same exact barrel as the 437M, so the problem was intrinsic.
