Not gonna happen.

BMWUSA wants you to think X series crossovers and SUVS for your next BMW family hauler. They are not interested in importing slow selling tourings and wagons. Outside the 5 or so schmucks in Internet forums that claim that will open their wallets if they ever become available here. Outside of these forums and enthusiasts, there is no market for them. At best a niche segment, very small and statistically insignificant to their sales projections.

So remember, the X lineup should satisfy your cravings for a touring wagonm

They need to keep that South Carolina factory churning out as many X series CUVs as they can!
