Had to delete my first post after realizing I wasn't on the OG board.
That said, for comparison sake, the MPE with CF tips for OG M2s can be had for around $3750 right now. Was surprised to see such a cost difference. I'd have a hard time dropping 6k...but it's all about what you value and want out of your car. If you want it, get it. Otherwise you may spend $60k+ on a car and not fully enjoy it if the stock exhaust is not pleasing to you. THAT would be a bigger waste of money than dropping 6k on an exhaust
