Here's some more weight info from BMW ETK:
OG M2 downpipe: 7.89lbs
OG M2 midpipe: 21.5lbs
OG M2 muffler: 24.78lbs
M2C downpipes (total weight of the two): 16.3lbs (8.4lbs difference compared to OG M2)
I don't have weight figures on M2C midpipe and muffler since BMW ETK hasn't released them yet but the following pics speak for themselves:

Good find. Looking at the diagrams it's easy to see why there's an extra 30+ pounds of weight in the exhaust. Add a pipe, resonator, and two cats and you're there.
