I have my whole nose wrapped in Xpel ultimate with a ceramic coating overtop. I used Carpro reset PH balanced wash & reload is a silica spray made to maintain ceramic coatings. The reload left what looks like cloudy stains on the PPF. I brought it back to my detailer because I tried everything but a DA and didn't want to risk screwing it up. He tried everything and finally broke out the DA and got it out but he had to strip the ceramic coating. So to make a long story short the ceramic coating has to be removed from the PPF and reapplied. Be careful what you put on your film xpel makes their own type of protectant called flawless finish you can use if you don't have a ceramic coating on your film. I'm sure there something you can apply to maintain I'm going to ask my detailer. I thought you can layer it just like your paint.
