They've now found the identified the fix, which you can either re-wire yourself, or send the harness back to Technic to be corrected free of charge. Looks like folks have had their bass back once this is done.

I ordered the harness a couple of weeks ago and received it Monday, the wires are fixed and in the correct locations, I didn't have to do a thing.
