I just did this myself, still high from the fumes of CQuartz Fabric. Definitely need good ventilation.
I sprayed a bit from the bottle onto a sponge and applied that way with a wet wipe style deal ready to grab anything I overshot.
The difference is really night and day, the dry weave went from looking a kind of ashy gray to having a depth closer to real carbon fiber parts. Definitely worth the time/money investment.
