Really depends on the person too. While people talk about modding it's really of no interest to me. Whether I had the OG or not I'm not going to tune or do anything more major than an exhaust.
I don't think fuel economy is too bad either, I just wish we had a bigger gas tank. Comparing the same commute I had with the B58 in my 440i compared to the S55 in my M2C I only get 2 mpg worse. I could go an extra week (5 days, ~22 mile round trip) in the 440i before I had to fill up.
