In the "iDrive 5.0 in the M2" thread Elwood74 mentioned that he was able to select the 6CP Apple CarPlay Compatibility option for his August build.
I called my CA and sometime between last week and today the system was updated and we were able to select 6CP Apple CarPlay Compatibility for my Week 32 (week of August 1) build.
