Fun factor and faster are 2 completely separate things. And everyone's idea of fun is different. It all comes down to personal preference.
I've always been a manual guy, and will always be a manual guy as long as it's still an option in the cars I prefer. It's more "fun" for me. Your opinion may be different. And that's ok.
