I might argue against this point if using this car, as purposed, in stock form. The car will likely go into limp mode and/or throw a warning light if oil temp or pressure exceed threshold. It's not a racecar. It's a track oriented car that's built to be beat on by track mortals, not track gods. Everything has been over engineered and built with safety margins. Propper gauges allow people to decide when enough is enough. Even more so when a tune defeats the safety measures.

An argument for your point is that I prefer to have as much data as possible so that I can look for correlation between changes and what might cause those changes. I too would prefer theses gauges or at least access to the data via the idrive system.
