Altho, I’m guessing some square folks will question your point #4, so you may want to jump ahead of them with your logic.

In my experience, I always ended up with the same amount of tire life bn square & staggered by having a correct alignment and driving the car to each setup’s limits (not spinning up rears with square, not plowing fronts with staggered).

The staggered sets usually cost a little more bc of the larger rear tire, but I found staggered more convenient bc I only had to keep track of moving tires from one side to the other, vs also front to rear.

When I’m driving the car right, my front & rear staggered tires wear out surprisingly about the same time!
