I saw that post of yours....In fact, your posts on square vs staggered, and tire selection helped make my current decisions.
I've always steered away from a staggered setup.
Ultimately these Four points shaped my final choices:
1) ESSEX BBK (Front axle) Allows for 18" tire selection, which still isn't optimum, but sufficient compared to 19's.
2) Un-sprung Weight-Rims, tires and BBK ( Really helps as you know)
3) Staggered is faster, especially at mid apex to track out with our cars.
4) Over time its cheaper as well :-) Consumables add up!
Hope we meet up on a track soon. Appreciate you sharing your experience on the boards. That's what makes them great for decision making..
