I choose those dimensions because they were as close as possible to stock size

I put them on a scale because I wanted to see if I can cut off some weight with the 18' but it looks like I wont cut of a lot of weight because the tires appear to be more heavy than the 19'. Probably because the sidewall is bigger with 40 instead of 35!

The front tire is about 12kg(26,5lbs) and the rear is about 13kg(28,7lbs) when I add the factory data on the m513 rims in front 8,9kg (19,6lbs) and rear 9,4kg (20,7lbs) the weight should be close to:

F:20,9kg (46lbs)
R:22,4kg (49,4lbs)

weight of stock 19's (437m with tires) according to another forum post:

F: 20,8kg (45,9lbs)
R: 22,6kg (49,8lbs)

The weight of the stock 19' seems to be almost identical but I will put them on a scale as well, was expecting to save some weight but it seems to be almost the same!? whats your opinion on this topic? because in a lot of threads they compare the weight of 19' & 18' rims but if the tire is more heavy on the 18's at least the "weight saving" aspect of going to 18's is more or less irrelevant

(messed up with the pictures sorry, can't change it anymore)
Sorry for going off topic. Would you mind posting some photos of your setup once the tires/wheels are mounted? I was seriously considering this exact same setup.

But yeah the AD08R have a wider contact patch than most tires rated at the same width, plus their sidewalls are stiff/blocky. With a 40 series tire and a similar overall diameter as the OEM 19s, I'm not surprised about the weight difference (or lack thereof).
