There comes a point (I know, silly me) when there is actually too much power.

The M5 and M6 are in this category. When, on sticky summer tires the stock car cannot maintain traction and that little DSC light keeps flashing, there is just too much power. It's great for marketing, not so much for driving on the street.

I think the M2, as is (OG, non-C) is a well balanced compromise, and long after the S58 has been replaced with a 4 gigawatt impulse engine, the "real" M2 will be appreciated for what it was.

FWIW, I had a 340i with the B58 and I didn't think it was all that.
