The Western Express dates just changed to 17-19 September 2020 due to Covid.
There's a pre-function on 16 September in Denver, and here's what the new itinerary is:
Friday - Denver to Pikes Peak, then Pikes Peak to Aspen via 82 and Independence Pass to Aspen.
Saturday - Planned drive to Pine Creek Cookhouse for lunch, then planned afternoon drive to Vail on 70 then South on 24 back towards 82 into Aspen.
Sunday - Drive from Aspen to Durango via various backroads (133 & 92) then Million Dollar Highway into Durango for conclusion of the event.
I've read a lot of good things about the event, and the few people I've corresponded with who've done it have really enjoyed it, so I figured "What the hell" and signed up.
Here's the link if anyone in Denver is interested. Hopefully, it'll be a good time, and it might be fun to have a bunch of BMW's in amongst the "heavy hitters".
