It'll help but not as much as forced air cooling. I plan to sell my scoops so for a little cash you could add forced cooling. Combine the scoops with the hacked shields and locally sourced hoses for a $100-150 solution.
I also plan to make some air deflectors for the rear brakes. Like the GT3 scoops used in DE.
