Thinking...

The tyre on your 10,5" rim will sit on the rim's outer edge 1,3mm further out than the 10" OEM rim edge. BUT, both tyres being 295, on the 10,5 rim it will be pulled further inwards due to the 10,5 inner rim edge being 11,4mm further in than the OEM. So even if your rim outer edge is 1,3mm further out the tyre will probably stick out less than on OEM. Question is how much...
This is really emphasizing two things for me:

1. There's very little room to go closer to the suspension with my/similar setups.
2. I think the 295/30 on the OEM rim will stick out too far on a lowered car. When I looked at my setup on the car, you may have 1mm at most for additional outer clearance. The 5mm ET difference b/n the VMRs and OEM wheels will not make it feasible to fit 295/30 on a lowered car, IMO.

I say this, but I think DrKevM5 has 295/30 on OEM wheels and lowered Dinan suspension for his street 4S set. The Pirelli track tire is more square, so a 295/30 4S on an OEM wheel on a lowered car probably works. But, my goal here is for the track.
