Why is it when a forum member post a
build bolting on bits and maybe adding a tune adding thousands to the base price or buys a car with all the carbon bits, everyone ooohs and aaahs. Yet when BMW adds the carbon bits, adaptive suspension, ups the HP by 40 HP everyone feels like they are being ripped off?
And what's with the comparisons to corvettes, mustangs, etc. they are completely different cars and do BMW owners really cross shop them? They must not b/c for example the corvette has so many "options" I can see the base price + options easily exceeding $100K.
