I admit it was definitely the goofiest looking thing I’ve owned. I see them now (rarely) and I kind of cringe a bit. Fell from the ugly tree for sure. Also, the 6MT shifter was ass in the 135i. The 1 > 2 shift was just exhausting in that car. One of the worst.
The M2C is a massive improvement over it - I noticed that immediately.
A thicker front hollow sway helped flatten the car immensely too.
