That is only for the latest istep revision. Prior to 03/2019 builds do not need the ecu removed for the unlock and the current Ecutek software will do it. I did it all myself with my tuner being 850miles away.
My comment however was referring to choosing a tuner for Ecutek...there are lots of people who can unlock the latest istep revision by pulling the ecu...after that then you are free to use whatever tuning software you like. |
yep, I was only saying that because iirc, he had the latest istep.
