Very logical, I actually just replaced my e92 m3 that was totaled with an 18 M2. I love it, stock for stock the chassis/suspension feels much better than the e9x, and the engine is more usable on street.
That said I'll add an e9x again in the future, I love them. My actual plan was to get a lift, keep the m3 nice, and add a higher mile m2 as a daily.
TL;DR, the m2 is a better chassis than the m3 I think. I had a good bit done to get my e92 tight (kw clubsport, solid subframe/diff, spl arms). Weirdly with all that done, a stock m2 still feels "lighter" and eager to change direction
