If the GR Yaris was offered in the US I'd buy one today. Wouldn't have to think about it for a second, I'd just buy it.
FWIW, I currently have a Fiesta ST that I have as a do-it-all car...daily driver, modified for track days, roof rack and snow tires for skiing, hitch rack for mountain biking...so a GR Yaris would be an excellent upgrade. Sigh.
I guess I'll just hope these rumors are true about Toyota and Subaru collaborating because I don't think I can bring myself to buy a Velostar N
