Do you want to go back to the days of carrying an cell phone, gps, iPod, Garmin and then also having to enter, sync and update that same information to multiple cars, contacts, locations, etc. that each have different proprietary interfaces.

My iPhone works the same on both my 2008 X5 and 2016 M2. Now at least on the M2 I dont have to plug it in and can use a similar interface through the car.
