I'm sure the larger tires will look a little better, but my concern is the change in handling; I'm not sure it will be better. The increase in grip means you'll likely need an increase in power to compensate. I went to a larger wheel on my 135i and car never quite let go in the rear the way it used to. And when it did, It wasn't a smooth slide. I think I'll trust BMW in what should be the appropriate setup.
