Once I removed the spacers, I just cranked the adjusting ring as low as they would go. I don't know if the KW V3 is the same as M Performance is the same. But if you do end up with the M Performance system, just tell the installer to set the locking rings as low as they will go. I do t think you will have an issue with the spacers as from all reports they are not part of the aftermarket kit, and are something that is port installed by BMW to prevent tampering and legal issues.
